About Us

Our founder, Mitchell Jay had just gone through a period where he attended three weddings within four weeks.  While he was attending the third one (an especially lavish event), he looked around and soaking in all the grandeur of the event, he started thinking about how many less fortunate people never get opportunities to attend such events.  

 

Events where there is an abundance of food, decorations, music to dance and sing along to and general fun with families.

 

On the spot, Mitch thought that there must be a way to bring an event like this to those who might not currently have an opportunity to attend.

 

His idea was to contact local homeless shelters to see if they would be interested in hosting such an event for the homeless.  With a resounding "yes", he put into motion a plan to creat a gala event atmosphere during a selected evening meal at the shelter.
